01 Editions is a boutique publisher based in Sydney, Australia. Established in 2001, 01 Editions aims to contribute to the fields of art, architecture, and design through the publishing of important individuals work which has the potential to change the way we think, and see, the world.
The Glenn Murcutt, Architect folio took over five years to produce and is based on early twentieth-century art and architecture folios which due to their quality, size, and exclusivity, are highly prized by collectors.
Printed entirely on archival paper, hand-bound, and cased in a linen-covered solander box each folio is individually numbered. The edition is limited to 1,000 copies.

Glenn Murcutt
Glenn Murcutt is Australia’s most internationally awarded architect, and winner of the 2002 Pritzker Architecture Prize. His work is unique — principled, pragmatic, and poetic. He is regarded as a seminal figure in the architectural world. As well as running his architecture office single-handedly, he teaches at leading universities in the USA, Australia, and Ireland, and lectures throughout the world.
Kenneth Frampton
Kenneth Frampton is a world-renowned architectural writer and critic and Ware Professor of Architecture at Columbia University, New York. He has published extensively over the last thirty years and is highly-respected for his work on regional architecture. His keynote essay on Glenn Murcutt is supported by his analytical and detailed prefaces to the eight folders of drawings.
Other contributors
The Glenn Murcutt, Architect folio has brought together the combined talents of writers from Australia, Finland, and the USA including eminent author David Malouf (Australia) and Juhani Pallasmaa (Finland), as well as many leading architectural photographers.
